Before turning 10 years old, Kurt Russel had already started his carreer appearing briefly in an Elvis Presley movie called "It happened at the world's fair." Fast forwarding to this role, he is discovered by Walt Disney who offers him a signed contract. For years, Kurt R. played in many Disney series and kept on playing baseball, one of his passions, in a Californian league. In the end of the 70's and after he portrayed strong characters in critical acclaimed movies such as "Escape from New York" and the thrilling "The thing" (directed by John Carpenter in 1982.) After he knew some cinematographical deceptions, Kurt Russel starred in "Tequila Sunrise", "Tango and Cash" and "Backdraft", which made him be back in the boxoffice scene.
